The RPM design is a model that has been constantly evolving over the last ten years with this latest version representing the current trend in performance board design.

Fuller in outline overall for more planning area that gives it a more in-built glide with a slight hip that reduces area around the back foot for added drive and sensitivity but with a wider tail block for more instant lift. The rocker retains the same concept it always has with even lower entry than before leading into a smooth belly then exiting through a hyper extended tail rocker allowing you to use the forward curve like an accelerator pedal whilst controlling your turns with precision with the extended tail curve which also fits in nicely in tight pockets.

The Zero 2 with all the elements of the previous Zero models with its low entry so planes like a dream but with a slight increase in nose rocker that lifts the rail line up slightly for quick direction changes in steeper parts of the wave on smaller days.

The main design change comes from the single concave to vee off the swallow tail which has made it really whippy in tight pocket sections yet still drivey due to the straighter center line rocker that the Zero models are renowned for, then rounded out with a bit of bite from the swallow tail block.

Generous volume distribution through the deck ensures forgiveness yet slightly tapered in the rail for sensitivity and quicker reaction when put on rail which is vital when performing in steeper small waves. Designed for small wave surfing with a good wave approach would best describe where this model sits in the range.

The X-Wing series has been a long running evolution in our design stables and this latest edition will not disappoint. Continuing to blur the lines between performance and retro designs, the new XW-4 screams new school with an old school twist.

This totally re-designed version features a dramatically reduced area in the forward outline that helps the board sit on rail and drive more through a turn compared to previous versions with a wider outline which traditionally pushes more away from the wave face and sits flatter through the turning radius.

The rocker still maintains the original concept from previous versions but has been enhanced with a touch more curve in the tail for slightly quicker reaction times off the back foot whilst still retaining that instant light speed from takeoff that the model is famous for.

The volume distribution has also seen a slight shift forward of centre so as to give more foam under your chest area for more paddle power and means slightly less thickness in between your stance for added sensitivity.

The wing / swallow tail combo allows for a straighter rail line speed and also reduces the area in the rear fin area for more hold and drive. Ride 3 to 4” shorter than your regular board.

The latest edition to the X-Wing series the “GOLD” edition has evolved from years of refinement from its original concept. Super low entry rocker for instant lift when paddling into the most smallest of waves with the tail rocker having a little more curve than normal to execute some quick turns in small pockets.

The outline in the front half stays the same as always with the full forward forgiving nose area that just eats up dead sections while the main change in this edition is we removed the flyer all together and replaced it with an aggressive hip which leads into a straight rail line giving way more drive than ever before and more well rounded smoothness to the overall feel of the board.

With a slight single concave between the feet for lift and a slight vee double concave in the last 6” of the tail, helps with the transition on rail that these types of designs tend to lack due to the curvy outline and finishing with a “Stealth Swallow” for nice bite and control. Ride 4” shorter than your “regular” board.

MP has been making and constantly refining these elliptical style summer concept boards for a long time now: first the X-Wing series, then the Red Devil, Bulls Eye etc… always with performance surfing in small waves the number one priority.

This latest creation has slightly altered straighter tail rocker combined with a deep vee double concave and a really flat entry rocker with full nose outline and a more tapered forward rail so the wider nose outline bit in rather pushes away when initiating your turns but with solid drive from the back end of the board from the double concave with vee bottom configuration. Running a slight hip just before the fins frees up the width the board carries in the outline which does two things:
a) Breaks the outline to enhance response and
b) Adds some drive off the straighter rail line which runs into a squash round tail for an overall smooth feel.

Bridging the gap between your modern small wave performance board and your summer concept grovel board. Ride 3” to 4” shorter than your regular board.

When you are stuck in grind of life with bills, mortgage bla bla… And before you know it you are getting one surf a week if you are lucky, the SKULLY was designed to make that session enjoyable as possible.

Classed as a small wave model but can be ridden up to a solid 3 feet. Its rail volume is more generous than any previous small wave designs we have come up with but still just enough taken out of parts in the board to allow some aggressive attacks to the lip when you want to hit it hard.

Lower rocker overall in nose and tail gives you enough glide when it is gutless but still just enough to not get hung up in tight turns when the waves are a little steeper, which is also helped by the slight vee running off the tail which gets the wider tail block to release in the lip.

Single to double concave for quick and smooth direction changes on the face with good lift on take off.

We have put all the elements of all our most successful small wave models to cover a broader range of surf, from the one surf a week man to your serious ripper looking for a good performance grovel board. Ride 2” – 3” shorter than your normal good wave board.
