The 40 oz. model contains a lot of volume in a short rail line.<\/p>\n

The 40 oz model was a favorite of our customers when we introduced it in the early 2000s. 20 years later we are re-introducing this model for the beginner\/heavier\/older surfer who is looking for a performance shortboard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"

The 40 oz. model crams a ton of volume in a smaller size shortboard. For example, we can get 50L of volume in a 6’0″!<\/p>\n

The 40 oz. model carries all its volume in the chest area enabling it to have great paddle power, while the tail is thinned out for maximum maneuverability.<\/p>\n

The bottom contour is a slight single concave with vee that starts in front of the fins and exits through the tail. This allows you to control a board with a lot of volume.<\/p>\n
