This model has a relaxed rocker, and its “egg” shape allows this board to trim very well. The bottom contour of the Lyle is a single to slight double concave which allows this board to accelerate very quickly on flat sections while still giving you the ability to put it on rail.

This board comes with side bites and a single fin box.

The Standard has a relaxed rocker, a wider nose and tail, and straighter outline which all assist in catching waves and giving you additional glide.

This model has 50/50 rails, and the rolled vee all help when performing sweeping carves and drawn-out bottom turns. The Standard is best surfed in lined up point break style surf and comes with a single fin box.

Chemistry 40 OZ

The 40 oz. model crams a ton of volume in a smaller size shortboard. For example, we can get 50L of volume in a 6'0"!

The 40 oz. model carries all its volume in the chest area enabling it to have great paddle power, while the tail is thinned out for maximum maneuverability.

The bottom contour is a slight single concave with vee that starts in front of the fins and exits through the tail. This allows you to control a board with a lot of volume.

We recommend shaving 4-6" off your normal sized board when ordering this model.

Chemistry Pool Toy

The Pool Toy has an extended rocker, especially in the back half of the board. Its slightly straighter outline helps with projecting this board in the fast-moving waves of the pool. We found the swallow tail works best with the extended rocker maneuvering the board from rail to rail very quickly. We recommend building your Pool Toy with our Flextronics technology. This will make the board feel very lively in the fresh water without being too buoyant like an epoxy sometimes does.

This is our go to model when traveling to the ever-increasing man-made waves around the world.

With all the hype surrounding freshwater wave pools, and having Chemistry ambassador, Cheyne Magnusson, operating the B.S.R. wave pool in Waco Texas, we decided to build a model catered to freshwater surfing.

The “Pool Toy” was developed by Jason Bennett with the need to create a high-performance board that will fit in the tight pockets of man-made waves

Chemistry Honey Dip

The Honey Dip is a high performance shortboard that excels in about every type of wave.

Extensive Ramp'd went down in the creation of this model with our team riders to create a high performance shortboard that excels in about every type of wave. The blind “taste test” went on for a year while we compiled feedback critical in the design of this model.

The post Chemistry Honey Dip appeared first on Ride your life.

The Honey Dip has a relaxed entry rocker with a single concave feeding into a deep vee off the tail. We widened the tail block ½” more than our standard shortboard models which helped create the straighter outline in the back half of the board for speed unlike any other shortboard we have designed.

The tail also boasts an extreme hip creating a “sweet spot” for increased maneuverability without the loss of speed. Lastly, the fin cluster is pushed back because of the tail width and hip, enabling maximum control without the drifty feel usually associated with wider tail blocks and hips.

The Zen3 has a relaxed entry rocker which makes this board paddle well in all conditions.

It’s wider thumb tail allows for maximum maneuverability, while the four-channel bottom gives the board a bit more hold and aids in even more speed generation.

Testing this model has been fun due to its ability to perform in about everything. From getting deep head high tubes to launching airs in waist high waves, it made choosing a board easy when heading out for a surf.

We can finally claim with full confidence that this is the fastest model we have ever created. The third installment to our Chem Zen line.

The Zen board line has been a favorite of our customers looking for a forward volume board to get in early on heavy, hollow surf. The Zen3 was built off the need to get into waves easily and to go as fast as possible down the line. This characteristic alone not only makes this ultra-versatile model work well in hollow surf but below average surf as well.

The Liquid Sword is based off our most popular high-performance model the Lights Out. We took the Lights Out model’s overall concept and modified it to perfection.

First, we relaxed the rocker of the entire board, by doing this we have found that the board gains speed easily while performing better in everyday surf

We also narrowed the nose width by 1/4″ compared to the Lights Out model. We recommend this model for waist high to overhead surf.

With these minor adjustments and positive feedback from professionals throughout the year, we are proud to release this blade for the public to enjoy.

Chemistry The Daisho

With all the recent hype on the modern, high performance single fin, we decided to take it to the “next level” of high performance with our version of the Twin Fin.

The Daisho is geared towards performance surfers who are looking for a twin fin without sacrificing shareability. Jason took an old curvy 80’s template that had a neat single wing squash tail mixed with a slightly pulled in nose.

The post Chemistry The Daisho appeared first on Ride your life.

With the absence of a center fin, twin fins tend to be fast but lack pivot off the bottom and top that a center fin provides. With that in mind, Jason added a ton of vee between the fins to simulate the feeling of a small center fin.

This model has the drive and speed of a traditional twin yet can be whipped around like a performance thruster. If you are looking to add more stability, a small trailer can be added to this model. Traditional twin fins tend to need to be “throttled down” when maneuvering or they will slide out and be difficult to control. The Daisho thrives off massive amounts of speed and can harness it easily. A terrific addition to anyone’s quiver as it is easily scalable from 5’0” to 6’6” and 20.0L to 50.0L

Bottom contour: slight single into a deep double concave

Tail: pin, thumb, squash

Chemistry Cassette Deck

We once again went nostalgic in creating this performance twin fin from the golden era of shortboard design. Jason Bennett developed the Cassette Deck to be used in the Vizsla Cosmic Creek at Salt Creek where Jason and the other surfer/shaper competitors were asked to shape and use their own rendition of the classic MR Twin Fin.

The post Chemistry Cassette Deck appeared first on Ride your life.

The board worked so well for Jason that he went on to win the event and decided to keep the hand shaped gem in his personal quiver. This year we all wanted to share this model with you by offering it in our eclectic line of Specialty boards. The beauty of the Cassette Deck model is that it creates and maintains speed with ease while handling more like a thruster rather than a Twin Fin. The bottom concave is vee all the way thru the tail and combined with an MR style fin template they give the Cassette Deck a very high-performance feel.

This model has old school down rails and a concave deck which tends to make the board feel thicker, so we recommend ordering this model 1/8” – 1/4” thinner than your normal small wave board. We also recommend ordering this model 2” – 4” shorter than your standard shortboard because of all that good volume it packs in a shorter rail line.

A perfect high-performance board to compliment anyone’s quiver. This model usually becomes the board people ride daily.

Brought into the product line by popular demand, the Flashpoint has been a favorite of our customers and team riders who have been ordering it for years.

By far the most user-friendly board model in our high-performance line that excels in about any type of surf from ankle high to a few feet overhead.

This board has more width in the nose and tail which helps it plane easier and maintain speed. It also has a relaxed rocker making it a great paddler.

Order this model 2″ shorter and 1/2″ – 1″ wider than your standard shortboard to excel in smaller waves. Order it your standard shortboard dimensions and feel the benefits of a wider nose and tail, with a lower rocker.
