The extra width in the center of the board compensates for the reduced length, while the rocker profile and bottom contours mimic those of a high-performance shortboard. The fuller round nose makes this board very friendly to the novice surfer, while still maintaining performance so the more advanced surfer can “cheat” in small waves. The outline is brought closer to the tail making this board easy to turn, while the double V concave gives you a pivot point for turning.
